Future road works
23rd March – 12th April: road works on the Route de Diekirch E421 between the Rond-point des Roses and the Centre Prince Henri
During these works, there will be changes to the traffic flow traffic, including for pedestrians. For everyone’s safety, it will be necessary to follow the indicated detours.
Phase 1: From 23rd March to 30th March, the sidewalk from Raiffeisen bank to the pharmacy will be blocked. Access to the pharmacy and other shops will still be guaranteed.
Phase 2: From 2nd April to 7th April, traffic will be controlled by traffic lights.
Phase 3: From 2nd April to 12th April, there will be occasional disruption to pedestrian traffic.
Sunday, 7th April – Monday, 8th April: Biergerkräiz roundabout CR181 closed due to resurfacing by Ponts & Chaussées
During these works, Rue de Bridel CR 181 will be open to traffic as far as Rue des Sept-Arpents. Acces to the restaurant Juegdschlass will be guaranteed.
The works will be completed on the morning of 8th April (6 am).
Current road works
From 15th March: road closure on the rue de Dommeldange CR 233 due to works by CREOS
The installation of a new underground medium-voltage power line between the Heisdorf substation and Dommeldange requires the closure of Rue de Dommeldange.
Phase 1: The road is closed to all traffic except residents and suppliers. Access to the Hostellerie Stafelter restaurant is guaranteed.
Phase 2: Traffic will be regulated by traffic lights between the PN16 level crossing and the border of the municipality in the direction of Beggen from 26 August until the end of the construction work (approximately January 2025).
End of April: completion of the road works on the Route de Luxembourg N7
Work on the Route de Luxembourg N7 will be completed at the end of April.
The final layer of pavement will then be laid on Sunday 19th May and Monday 20th May.
