Every year, the commune grants scholarships to students in higher education. A first scholarship disbursements amounting to €500 can be allocated after successfully completing two years of higher education while not exceeding the age of 23 years.
A second disbursements for €500 can be allocated after successfully complete a full cycle of studies in the second cycle (e.g. Master degree) while not exceeded the age of 27 years old.
Furthermore, the student must have been registered in Walferdange for at least two years and the request must be submitted under penalty of debarment by 31 December in the year the studies have successfully been completed as mentioned above.
